I finally upgraded from a wacom bamboo to an intuos 4, and this is my first painting with my new tablet. I used the bamboo for around 5-6 months, coming before that from traditional drawing and painting, etc. I just wanted to get the feel for a tablet with the bamboo, and it served me well but I felt it was time to upgrade, and I am so glad I have got an intuos now because I really can feel the difference. This was all painted from scratch in black and white using basic photoshop brushes. It took me around 6 hours to complete. There is snow coming in from the east, and mountains and rocks scattered around in the distance, with some rough water in the foreground. A couple of spaceships can be seen in the distance approaching the main city. Thank you very much for looking and your comments would be great, thanks again :)

Incedible and astounding atmosphere.
Between Sci-Fi and fairy tale style!
We could imagine a remote future or a remote past in an other world.
Really impressive!
Greetings from Paris!

Awesome piece. I like the crisp feel to the waves. The snow adds an extra level of depth to the atmosphere.

The intuos 4 is awesome too, I upgraded from a Bamboo about six months ago and you really can tell the difference. Anyway, six hours is pretty impressive. Good work!

This is incredible, the details, the light, the way the waves appear to be in motion, it's like taking a photo of the scene you drew

It really gives you feel of what it would be like to stand there in such an atmosphere of light and shadow happenings
